Privacy & Enquiry Data

A clear explanation of how information submitted through the Darmaltoon website is handled.

Updated 17 October 2026

What information we collect

When you submit a demo or contact request, we receive the details you choose to provide, such as your name, pharmacy or company, phone number, email address, location, preferred language and your message. Some fields are optional.

Why we use this information

We use enquiry details to respond, explain the software, arrange a demonstration and follow up about the question you submitted. We do not show your messages publicly. Please do not enter patient records, medicine prescriptions, payment-card data or other sensitive personal information in marketing forms.

How enquiries are processed

The website sends the submitted details over HTTPS to a server-side intake form. Valid requests are stored in a private server directory outside the public website. Email notification may be attempted so our team can review your request; successful email queueing does not guarantee delivery. To reduce spam, we retain a keyed hash of the visitor IP address for throttling instead of keeping the raw IP address in the lead record.

Retention and deletion

Enquiry records are retained for the time needed to respond and manage related business communications. A fixed automatic deletion period has not yet been established. Contact us if you want a record corrected or deleted; some records may need to be retained where required for operational or legal reasons.

Your choices

Submitting a request is optional. You can reach us directly by email or WhatsApp instead. The site also saves your selected language or language preference in your browser where that feature is used. If you use WhatsApp or an external email service, that service has its own privacy practices.

Security and limitations

We restrict public access to submitted enquiries and use HTTPS for website requests. No online system provides an absolute guarantee of security. If you believe a submitted record should be updated or removed, contact us.

First-party website analytics

For privacy-friendly marketing insights, we record page visits, referring sources, campaign tags, link interactions, approximate country and conversions. Anonymous random browser and session IDs are kept in local or session storage to estimate unique visitors and sessions (not unique people); those values are hashed on our server, stored for no more than about 35 days, and cannot identify you by name. Raw IP addresses are used transiently to estimate country through a locally stored database and are not saved in analytics. Aggregated totals are kept for about 13 months. The tracking uses no third-party advertising cookies, but the site owner's admin browser receives a first-party exclusion cookie. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable analytics. Google search keywords are shown only if verified Search Console results are imported. Browser events can be disabled through your browser's tracking controls.

Google Analytics (GA4)

Our public marketing pages also use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-EYBZX45DX7) to understand aggregated visits, device categories, acquisition sources and engagement. When allowed by your browser's privacy preferences, Google's tag may use analytics cookies or similar identifiers and process visit information on Google's systems. We disable Google advertising signals and ad-personalization signals for this implementation. We do not deliberately send customer names, prescriptions, contact form contents or pharmacy transaction records to Google Analytics. The same browser opt-out, Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, and owner-exclusion settings that stop our first-party marketing analytics also stop this Google tag. Google processes data under its own privacy terms; see https://policies.google.com/privacy .
